The price of the precious metal has reached a new high of more than USD 2,251 per troy ounce. The gold price rally has been intact since mid-February. At its March meeting, the Fed left the key interest rate at 5.25% to 5.5%. According to the Fed, interest rates will be cut three times in 2024, even if inflation has picked up again somewhat. Der Preis des Edelmetalls hat mit mehr als 2.251 US-Dollar je Feinunze wieder ein neues Hoch erreicht. Seit Mitte Februar ist die Goldpreisrallye intakt. Die Fed beließ in der März-Sitzung den Leitzins bei 5,25 bis 5,5 Prozent. 2024, so die US-Notenbank, werden die Zinsen dreimal gesenkt werden, auch wenn die Inflation wieder etwas angezogen hat. Dies wird den US-Dollar schwächen und für einen weiteren Auftrieb der Preise sorgen. Denn mit dem Höhepunkt der Zinsen dürfte auch der US-Dollar seinen Höhepunkt erreicht haben. Nach 13 Jahren Bullenzyklus könnte somit eine Korrektur beim US-Dollar, gemessen am DXY-Index, kommen. Denn niedrigere US-Zinsen würden die Nachfrage nach US-Dollar-Produkten zu Anlagezwecken weniger attraktiv erscheinen lassen.…
