Electric car sales speak for rising lithium demand
Despite various negative targets, global sales of electric vehicles set a new record in 2023. Crises, wars, inflation and a weak economy did not affect the registration figures. Around nine million pure e-vehicles were sold last year. This was around 29 percent more than in the previous year. And the number of e-cars continues to grow worldwide. To date, 43 US states have exempted the two precious metals from state sales tax. Because gold and silver protect against inflation.
