Even though rising inventories are currently weighing on the tin price, the metal has excellent prospects for the future. LME inventories have increased from last fall to spring 2023 for tin. Currently, they are higher than they have been since November 2017. This, of course, weighs on the price of the metal. Auch wenn steigende Vorräte den Zinnpreis gerade belasten, hat das Metall hervorragende Zukunftsaussichten. Die LME-Vorräte sind vom letzten Herbst bis zum Frühjahr 2023 beim Zinn gestiegen. Aktuell sind sie so hoch wie seit November 2017 nicht mehr. Dies belastet natürlich den Preis des Metalls. Dabei blickt alles auf China und die gerade nicht so starken Wirtschaftsdaten. Doch auch Chinas Wirtschaft wird sich wieder erholen. Auch gibt es derzeit Produktionseinschränkungen in Myanmar, einem wichtigen Zinn-Produktionsland. Solange diese vorliegen und vielleicht noch Lieferschwierigkeiten bezüglich Indonesien dazukommen, dürfte dies dem Zinnpreis Auftrieb verleihen. So musste im Juli eine weitere Abschwächung vermerkt werden, woran vor allem die Immobiliensituation die Schuld trägt. Beim Konsum dagegen zeichnet sich eine, wenn auch sanfte Erholung ab. Die Unterstützung durch die chinesische Regierung zielt besonders auf den Konsum ab. Basisrohstoffe und Rohstoffe für die Energiewende sollten weiterhin gut unterstützt sein.
