Registrations of electric vehicles on the rise
Even though there are still many combustion and diesel vehicles on the road, electric vehicles are on the rise. Worldwide registrations of climate-friendly vehicles increased 38 percent in the second half of 2022 compared to the same period last year, according to Adamas Intelligence (AI). The buyers responsible for this were primarily from Asia-Pacific (up 53 percent) and the U.S. (up 21 percent). In Europe, the increase was 19 percent. In this country, more than 206,000 new passenger cars were registered in February, with electric vehicles accounting for 15.7 percent of the total. Auch wenn noch viele Verbrenner und Dieselfahrzeuge unterwegs sind, die Elektrofahrzeuge nehmen zu. Weltweit sind im zweiten Halbjahr 2022 gegenüber dem Vorjahreszeitraum die weltweiten Zulassungen der klimafreundlichen Fahrzeuge um 38 Prozent angestiegen, so Adamas Intelligence (AI). Die dafür verantwortlichen Käufer kamen vor allem aus dem asiatisch-pazifischen Raum (plus 53 Prozent) und aus den USA (plus 21 Prozent). In Europa lag der Anstieg bei 19 Prozent. Hierzulande wurden im Februar mehr als 206.000 Pkw neu zugelassen, dabei lag der Anteil der Elektrofahrzeuge bei 15,7 Prozent.
