Normalerweise betragen Korrekturen beim Goldpreis acht bis zehn Prozent, bei Goldminenunternehmen etwas mehr. Mit einer scharfen Korrektur rechnen Experten derzeit nicht, denn dafür hat sich der Preis nicht weit genug bewegt. Steigt der Goldpreis, dann steigt in der Regel auch die Nachfrage an den Terminbörsen. Als der Goldpreis über 2.000 US-Dollar je Unze lag, vor etwa einem dreiviertel Jahr, gab es mehr als 300.000 Kontrakte am Tag. Momentan sind es weniger als 200.000 Kontrakte. Experts do not currently expect a sharp correction, because the price has not moved far enough for that. When the price of gold rises, demand on the futures exchanges usually increases as well.
