Inflation und kein Ende – gut für den Goldpreis
Eine Inflation von 10,1 Prozent im Juli markiert ein weiteres Rekordhoch in Großbritannien. Das ist immerhin der höchste Anstieg seit 40 Jahren. Und die dortige Zentralbank geht sogar von bis zu 13 Prozent Inflation aus, die noch kommen. Vor allem die Lebensmittelpreise und die Energiepreise haben den neuen Rekordwert verursacht. Dass gleichzeitig mit einem Rückgang der Wirtschaftsleistung gerechnet wird, macht die Sache noch schlimmer. Wenn also für andere Länder prognostiziert wird, dass die Inflation auf dem Rückzug ist, so muss das nicht unbedingt der Fall sein.
