Man ist der Meinung, dass Atomkraft zur Stromerzeugung beitragen sollte, auch wegen der Einhaltung der Klimaziele. Keine Meinung dazu haben fast 8 %, der Rest ist gegen Atomstrom. Andere Länder sind Deutschland da einen Schritt voraus. Copper market remains tight
In the second quarter of 2022, copper prices fell significantly. This was surprising in that the copper market is tight. The International Copper Study Group expects an oversupplied copper market this year and next. However, this is based on investments in existing properties and in new mines, and these investments are only available at a copper price between US$7,000 and US$7,500 per ton ("incentive price") – which copper has just reached again. Nevertheless, some investment plans, such as in Chile, may fail due to higher mining taxes. Die International Copper Study Group geht in diesem und im nächsten Jahr von einem überversorgten Kupfermarkt aus. Jedoch sind dafür Investitionen in bestehende Liegenschaften und in neue Minen die Grundlage und diese Investitionen gibt es nur bei einem Kupferpreis zwischen 7.000 und 7.500 US-Dollar je Tonne („Incentive-Preis“) – was Kupfer gerade wieder erreicht hat. Dennoch können manche Investitionspläne, wie etwa in Chile, womöglich an höheren Bergbau-Steuern scheitern. Zimbabwe’s inflation is making the population poor. Zimbabwe is demonstrating what politicians and citizens can do: Invest in gold. At the end of July, the Central Bank of Zimbabwe announced the debut of its Mosi-oa-Tunya gold coin. In this way, central bankers and politicians want to protect their citizens from rampant inflation. After all, only when demonetization is not a problem for investors can a savings culture be established. Saving is then once again the basis for prosperity and later consumption. Ende Juli war es so weit, die Zentralbank von Simbabwe gab das Debut für ihre Mosi-oa-Tunya-Goldmünze bekannt. Damit wollen Notenbanker und Politiker ihre Bürger vor der ausufernden Inflation schützen. Denn nur, wenn die Geldentwertung für Anleger kein Problem darstellt, kann eine Sparkultur aufgebaut werden. Sparen ist dann wieder die Grundlage für Wohlstand und späteren Konsum. Man darf gespannt sein, wie diese Art des Sparens bei den Bürgern Simbabwes ankommen wird.
