Mining jurisdictions with best rating

Every now and then, the mining friendliness of countries in which mining is carried out is examined.

The development and exploitation of deposits takes a long time and incurs high costs. Investment and contract security is therefore significant for mining companies. The countries concerned, on the other hand, seek taxes and levies. Often, raw materials are abundant in developing and emerging countries, while industrialized countries are not so richly blessed with raw materials. In the most recent survey, Nevada ranked first among the most attractive mining jurisdictions. Western Australia followed in second place, then Saskatchewan in Canada. The next candidates are Newfoundland and Labrador, Colorado, the Northern Territory, Arizona, Quebec, South Australia and Botswana. The Fraser Institute conducts this survey every year. Other Canadian provinces landed in twelfth place (Ontario), 14th place (Manitoba) and 15th place (British Columbia).

Mining companies will certainly be pleased to find their mining land high up on the hit list.

In Nevada and also in Idaho and Montana, for example, US Critical Metalshttps://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/us-critical-metals-corp/ – is present. The company’s focus in Nevada is on lithium; the Clayton Valley Lithium Project consists of 180 contiguous claims and is already well advanced. At US Critical Metals, Idaho and Montana stand for cobalt, rare earths and lithium. In other words, these are all raw materials for which demand growth is expected to be high.

In Saskatchewan, famous for its uranium wealth, IsoEnergyhttps://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/isoenergy-ltd/ – is active. The company’s prospective uranium projects are located in the eastern Athabasca Basin.
