Global energy demand is rising. Nuclear power, and in particular SMRs (small modular reactors), are on the rise. The floating platform in Korea is equipped with two SMRs. The approval for the platform confirms that the new concept, which incorporates new technologies, complies with the relevant guidelines and standards. The Korean Atomic Energy Research Institute had adapted the land-based SMART100 SMR for offshore applications.

India is also focusing on nuclear energy. Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh are planned as locations for the first Indian SMRs. However, India also has plans for new large reactors. This is because a nuclear energy capacity of 100 GW is to be achieved by 2047. At least five SMRs developed in India are to be commissioned by 2033.

In the UK, three modular reactors from Rolls-Royce SMR are to be built on the island of Anglesey in North Wales. Together, they will have a capacity of up to 1.5 GW. Further large and small nuclear reactors are planned, with locations being considered in England and Scotland. China, Russia, and Argentina are already pioneers, building SMRs or already operating them. SMRs have the potential to revolutionize nuclear energy. They are faster to build, safer, and a clean source of energy and climate protection. Now all that is needed is uranium. Opportunities for investors are available at Uranium Energy or Uranium Royalty.

Uranium Energy https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/uranium-energy-corp/ – has diversified uranium holdings and ISR uranium projects in the US, with further projects in Canada. Uranium mining, processing, refining, and conversion are all part of the business.

Uranium Royalty https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/uranium-royalty-corp/ – is something special for investors who focus on diversification, as it is the only royalty company in the uranium industry. The company has just added a royalty on two uranium projects in Saskatchewan to its portfolio.
