Ralph Wangemann Confirmed as Managing Director Human Resources and Labour Director of Opel Automobile GmbH
Ralph Wangemann has been working for the Rüsselsheim-based carmaker for more than 25 years and has held various responsibilities in the human resources department during this time. Since January 2019, the 56-year-old has been heading human resources and providing important impetus for the further development of the company. His wealth of experience strengthens Opel in the current far-reaching transformation of the industry.
“Ralph Wangemann stands for reliability, dialogue and future orientation. Together with the social partners, he has made a significant contribution to making Opel and Germany fit for the future. We are pleased that he is continuing on this path with us,” said Xavier Chéreau, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Opel Automobile GmbH.
The contract extension underlines Opel’s goal of developing the company in Germany in a sustainable, competitive and responsible manner.
