Copolyesterplatten für sicheren Lebensmittelkontakt
Die Exolon Group erweitert ihre Polyester-Produktfamilie um neue BPA-freie Lösungen: Inspria® GP, eine transparente Copolyesterplatte auf Basis von Eastman Tritan™ und die nachhaltige Inspria® GP rECOplus2 mit Post-Cosumer-Rezyklaten. Das Material ist geeignet für den Kontakt mit Nahrungsmitteln und erfüllt bereits heute die Anforderungen der neuen EU-Verordnung, die ab 2028 den Einsatz von Bisphenol A (BPA) in der Produktion von Lebensmittel -kontaktmaterialien verbietet. Copolyester Sheets for Safe Food Contact
The Exolon Group expands its polyester sheet portfolio with two new BPA-free copolyester products: Inspria® GP and Inspria® GP rECOplus2, both based on Eastman Tritan™. The rECOplus2 version contains 25% post-consumer recycled content. Both grades are approved for direct food contact and already comply with the upcoming 2028 EU regulation banning Bisphenol A (BPA) in food contact materials. Exolon Group S.p.A. übernimmt AkyVer® Polycarbonat Produktportfolio von Corplex
Die Exolon Group übernimmt das AkyVer®-Polycarbonatplattensortiment von Corplex (Kaysersberg / Frankreich). Die Unterzeichnung der Vereinbarung fand am 2. Juli 2025 statt, der Abschluss der Transaktion ist für Mitte August geplant. Im Rahmen der Akquisition übernimmt die auf die Extrusion von Kunststoffplatten spezialisierte Exolon Gruppe die Vermögenswerte, Markenrechte, Vertriebsaktivitäten und das geistige Eigentum – einschließlich der Produkt- und Patentrechte – im Zusammenhang mit der Marke AkyVer®. Die Produkte umfassen Polycarbonat Stegplatten (AkyVer® Sun Type), Paneele (AkyVer® Paneele) sowie Polycarbonat Stegplatten Systeme (AkyVer® Connect / Prime). Exolon Group S.p.A. acquires AkyVer® Polycarbonate Product Portfolio from Corplex
Exolon Group SpA intends to acquire the AkyVer® polycarbonate sheet business from Corplex (Kaysersberg, France). The signing of the agreement took place on 2nd July 2025, with the transaction planned to close by mid-August 2025. As part of the acquisition, the plastic sheet extrusion specialist Exolon Group will assume ownership of the assets, trademark rights, sales operations, and intellectual property – Including product and patent rights—associated with the AkyVer® brand. The acquired product portfolio includes a variety of polycarbonate multiwall sheets (AkyVer® Sun Type), panel products (AkyVer® Panels), and sheet systems (AkyVer® Connect / Prime). Wie fantastisch ist Plastik wirklich? Das zeigt die neue Sonderausstellung „Plastic Fantastic?“ im Industriemuseum Gent.
