Farewell Makrolon® – Hello Exolon®! The Exolon Group is taking the biggest step in its company’s relatively short history and saying goodbye to the name of its core product Makrolon®. In future, polycarbonate multiwall and solid sheets will be produced and sold under the new brand name Exolon®. This brand change reflects the new identity and strategic business direction of the Exolon Group. Aufregender könnte ein erstes Geschäftsjahr wohl kaum sein: Kaum unter neuem Namen und mit neuer Unternehmensstruktur am Markt, kam schon die Corona-Pandemie. Dennoch: Die Exolon Group blickt insgesamt zufrieden auf ihr erstes Geschäftsjahr zurück. Anfang 2020 gründete sich das Unternehmen unter dem Dach der Serafin Unternehmensgruppe und setzt nun das Kunststoffplattengeschäft von Covestro fort. Een jaar Exolon – een start met spannende uitdagingen
Spannender kan een eerste boekjaar waarschijnlijk nauwelijks zijn. Het bedrijf had nog maar pas een nieuwe naam en een nieuwe bedrijfsstructuur toen de coronapandemie uitbrak. Toch kan de Exolon Group over het geheel genomen tevreden terugkijken op haar eerste boekjaar. Begin 2020 werd het bedrijf opgericht onder de paraplu van de Serafin-ondernemingsgroep en het zet nu de activiteiten van Covestro op het gebied van kunststofplaten voort. Exolon Group: Axpet® und Vivak® in neuem Look
Neues Jahr – neues Design: Die Brands der Exolon Group, Axpet® und Vivak®, wurden typografisch dem Exolon-Corporate-Design angepasst. Das optische Makeover von Axpet® und Vivak® zählt zur umfassenden Brand-Change-Kampagne der Exolon Group 2021, welche die Marken sämtlicher Produktserien betrifft. Nicht verändert haben sich die Produkte selbst: Axpet® und Vivak® sind transparente bzw. transluzente Polyester- und Copolyester-Massivplatten, mit denen sich durch die leichte Formbarkeit auch anspruchsvolle dreidimensionale Ideen verwirklichen lassen. Vivak®-Platten werden aus PET-G-Rohstoff hergestellt. Sie sind leicht, extrem bruchfest und weisen eine sehr gute Transparenz auf. New year – new design: The Exolon Group brands Axpet® and Vivak® have had their typography aligned with the Exolon corporate design. The visual makeover of Axpet® and Vivak® is part of the Exolon Group’s comprehensive brand change campaign for 2021, covering the brands of all product lines. The products themselves have not changed: Axpet® and Vivak® are transparent or translucent polyester and copolyester solid sheets, whose easy formability makes even sophisticated three-dimensional ideas possible. Vivak® sheets are made of PETG raw material. They are lightweight, high break resistant and have excellent transparency. Vivak® is also weather-resistant and UV-stable, depending on the product type. Le relooking d’Axpet® et Vivak® s’inscrit dans le cadre de la vaste campagne de changement de marque 2021 du groupe Exolon, qui concerne les marques de toutes les gammes de produits. Les produits eux-mêmes n’ont pas changé : Axpet® et Vivak® sont des plaques massives transparentes ou translucides en polyester et en copolyester avec lesquelles même des réalisations tridimensionnelles sophistiquées peuvent être envisagées grâce à leur facilité de formage.
