Overall system demonstrator for a future airmobile weapon carrier (GSD LuWa) presented to the BMVg and BAAINBw
On 14 October 2021, the current status of the GSD LuWa research and technology (R&T) project was presented to the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMVg) and the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology, and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) at the general contractor IABG in Lichtenau. Guests were the group leader K5 of the BAAINBw, the heads of division Equipment IV 2 and Planning II 5 of the BMVg as well as the Slovenian defence attaché. On this occasion, IABG demonstrated the GSD LuWa in special driving situations, live firing, and the blast test of a sample of the vehicle hull. Gesamtsystemdemonstrator für einen zukünftigen Luftbeweglichen Waffenträger (GSD LuWa) vor Vertretern des BMVg und BAAINBw vorgestellt
Am 14. Oktober 2021 wurde im Rahmen einer funktionalen Präsentation der aktuelle Sachstand zum Forschung & Technologie (F&T) -Projekt GSD LuWa u. a. vor Vertretern des Bundesministeriums der Verteidigung (BMVg) und des Bundesamtes für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) beim Generalunternehmer IABG in Lichtenau präsentiert. Zu Gast waren neben dem Gruppenleiter K5 des BAAINBw die Referatsleiter Ausrüstung IV 2 und Planung II 5 des BMVg sowie der slowenische Verteidigungsattaché. Bei dieser Gelegenheit zeigte die IABG den GSD LuWa auch in besonderen Fahrsituationen, bei der Schussabgabe und der Ansprengung eines Musters der Fahrzeugwanne.
