    The smallest platinum RTD

BondSens – Platinum Temperature Sensors are manufactured according to DIN EN 60751 and have an operating temperature range of -50 °C to +150 °C. The miniaturized RTD is designed for automatic placement in high volume applications in DIE packages where long-term stability, a good thermal transfer, at low cost are important. This sensor is typically used in energy management and thermal compensation for consumer, industrial and medical devices. It features a very small size of 0.75mm x 0.75mm with very low drift and can be packaged and integrated with semiconductor devices, through ball-wedge or wedge-wedge Au-wire bonding. Customized adaptations are available on request.  Über die Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG…

    Sensor for narrow spaces

For applications with limited and narrow spaces, IST AG offers Pt1000 RTD sensors with axial lead wires. Its extremely narrow sensor chip construction and glass passivation allows for temperature measurement in very tight spaces, with a  tolerance: +/-10% Offset at 0°C in the range between  -200°C – +400°C. For example, where the sensor must fit in a drill hole or tube with an inner diameter of less than 0.6 mm. Other construction examples could be where sensors with axial lead wires are applied in long hoses or channels, picking up the temperature at several points acting as averaging sensors. NEW! Peristaltic micropumps

Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG’s latest development is the peristaltic pump series CPP1. Designed for liquids and gases, the pumps provide small flow rates in combination with reliable flow rate control and biocompatibility. The CPP1 peristaltic micropumps enable the bidirectional pumping of small amounts of liquids and gases in a controlled stream. The possible flow rates range from 150 nl to 800 µl. They are therefore, among others, optimal for supplying analytes to sensors. With peristaltic pumps only the tubing is in contact with the medium, preventing contamination of the pumped liquids or gases. The media passes the pump through a medical-grade silicone tube. The CPP1 pumps are designed to be connected…

Temperature sensor elements for limited space

Inverted and bent leads are the optimal solution for applications in tubes where sensors are soldered to the bottom of the tube. They are additionally used in applications with limited space where an optimal thermal contact is required and obtained by soldering sensors to surfaces. That is why the temperature sensors are also offered with a metallized backside to increase thermal coupling and with long directly welded wires to increase assembly processes and robustness. To increase accuracy and response time, IST AG offers RTD sensors with inverted and bent leads with a metallized backside allowing the sensor to be soldered onto a metallic surface and thereby increasing the thermal coupling.…
