Im Laufe der Zeit fanden einige ursprünglich in den USA für den nordamerikanischen Markt entwickelte Ford-Modelle trotzdem ihren Weg zu uns nach Europa. Beispielsweise der Mustang natürlich oder auch der Explorer. Ferner in diese Kategorie fiel der Edge. Das SUV war für gut viereinhalb Jahre bei uns erhältlich, sollte als großer Bruder oberhalb des beliebten Kuga durchstarten. Der Erfolg hielt sich jedoch eher in Grenzen: In Deutschland wurden knapp 18.000 Exemplare verkauft und zugelassen, womit der Edge eher als Exot zu bezeichnen ist. Of course, Barracuda Racing Wheels regularly launches new wheel designs. By now, it has become standard practice for these to be manufactured using the weight-saving flow-forged process. Nevertheless, the portfolio still includes several well-established Barracuda classics that continue to enjoy great popularity to this day. One of these is the Barracuda Inferno. Those wheels also equip the Kia ProCeed GT presented here, which received a range of additional upgrades. The Inferno wheels measure 8.5×19 inches all around on the dynamically styled compact-class shooting brake. The corresponding tires are sized 225/35R19.
