The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by company representatives, local councillors, and the construction management team. The new hall is expected to be ready for occupation by the end of 2026. Die Schweizer Tochter des Düsseldorfer Technologiekonzerns Rheinmetall, Rheinmetall Air Defence, errichtet in Studen/SZ eine neue Werkstatt- und Lagerhalle. Dazu erfolgte nun der Spatenstich im Beisein von Vertretern des Konzerns, Gemeindevertretern und des Baumanagements. Die neue Halle soll voraussichtlich bis Ende 2026 bezugsfertig sein. American Rheinmetall erhält CMMC-Zertifizierung der Stufe 2 für alle Produktionsstätten
American Rheinmetall hat für alle seine Produktionsstätten in Maine, Michigan und Ohio die Zertifizierung nach dem Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) der Stufe 2 erhalten. Damit bekräftigt das Unternehmen sein Engagement für den Schutz von „Controlled Unclassified Information“ (CUI) und die Einhaltung der Sicherheitsanforderungen des US-Kriegsministeriums (U.S. Departmemt of War). Das Unternehmen schloss sein abschließendes Audit im Februar ab und stellte damit seine gesamte Produktionspräsenz vollständig auf CMMC-Level-2-Konformität um. American Rheinmetall has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 across all of its manufacturing facilities in ME, MI, and OH, reinforcing the company’s commitment to protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and supporting the security requirements of the U.S. Department of War (DoW). The company completed its final audit in February, bringing its entire manufacturing footprint into full CMMC Level 2 compliance. The Düsseldorf-based technology group Rheinmetall and Destinus, a Netherlands-based European defence technology company focused on scalable strike and interception systems, have agreed to establish a joint venture. The aim of the two partners is to set up the joint venture, to be named Rheinmetall Destinus Strike Systems, during the second half of 2026. It will manufacture, market, and deliver advanced missile systems. These will include cruise missiles and ballistic rocket artillery.
