Gold im Februar, mal gut mal schlecht
Statistiken sind immer von Interesse, doch unverhofft kommt oft, nicht aber beim bleibenden Wert des Goldes. Im vergangenen Jahr brachte der Februar, entgegen seiner sonst nicht so schlechten Performance in diesem Wintermonat, ein großes Minus ein. Bei der Betrachtung des Goldpreises im Lauf der Monate ist nämlich der Februar der fünftbeste Monat. Der beste Monat ist in der Regel der Januar, doch diesmal ergab sich nur ein kaum erwähnenswertes Plus (0,08 Prozent). Allerdings war der Goldpreis in diesem Januar um rund 4,5 Prozent höher als vor einem Jahr. Letztes Jahr im Februar musste der Preis des Edelmetalls deutlich Federn lassen.
