Dynamic Spirit of Innovation: 2nd MPS World Summit in Berlin
The 2023 World Summit for microphysiological systems (MPS) had a record attendence with over 1,200 participants from all over the world. The increase of attendees from 700 at the 2022 MPS Meeting in New Orleans showed the dynamics in this emerging field. 196 speakers reported on their research using organs-on-chip. The conference started with a very successful Educational Workshop where VITROCELL explained the exposure to the AlveoliX AX12 lung-on-chip using the exposure system Cloud Alpha AlveoliX AX12. The VITROCELL® RH/T-Controller system was designed to measure temperature and relative humidity in numerous applications at high precision. It can be fitted to humidification systems, aerosol ducts and climatic chambers. In cell exposure, relative humidity is a key factor for cell viability – this is even more important at longer exposure durations.
