GK Software hat eine Innovationspartnerschaft mit der Abacus Solutions International Group, dem Anbieter von Lottery Everywhere geschlossen. Die Abacus Lottery Fusion Plattform bringt Einzelhändler und Lotterieanbieter zusammen, um ein nahtloses Lotterieerlebnis am Point-of-Sale zu ermöglichen. Damit entfällt für Einzelhändler die Notwendigkeit, aufwändige Integrationen zu dedizierten Lotto-Terminals umzusetzen, wodurch der gesamte Bereitstellungs- und Einführungsprozess eines Lotterieangebotes deutlich vereinfacht wird. On 21 May 2021, GK Software SE will be parting company with AWEK microdata GmbH in order to focus more intensely on the CLOUD4RETAIL platform, and will be selling it to the Italian Lodi-based Zucchetti Group for a figure in the mid single-digit million range. AWEK microdata is a wholly-owned subsidiary of GK Software, focused on the development, sale and management of euroSUITE, the solution for medium-sized retailers. GK Software SE has passed the first major milestone in implementing its programme to vaccinate its employees. Nearly all the workers at the company’s headquarters in Schöneck had been able to receive their first dose of the vaccination by the end of April. GK actively helped with organising this process in order to be able to offer the jabs as quickly as possible. Die GK Software SE hat die ersten großen Meilensteine bei der Umsetzung der Impfung ihrer Mitarbeiter erreicht. Am Unternehmenssitz in Schöneck haben Ende April nahezu alle Mitarbeiter bereits den ersten Impftermin wahrnehmen können. Dabei hat GK aktiv bei der Organisation unterstützt, um so schnell wie möglich die Impfungen anbieten zu können. Auch am zweitgrößten Standort im saarländischen St. Ingbert haben voraussichtlich bis Mitte Mai alle Mitarbeiter ihre die Erstimpfungen erhalten, von denen die meisten über den Betriebsarzt organisiert worden sind. GK Software SE reports sharp rise in profits in the 2020 fiscal year – EBITDA margin at 16 percent
GK Software SE is fully in line with its forecast for the 2020 fiscal year and has succeeded in substantially increasing its earnings. According to preliminary figures, its EBITDA reached a level of 18.5 million euros. This is around one and a half times the previous year’s result of 12.3 million euros (up 51 percent). Despite the restrictions on sales caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, revenue continued to rise to 117.5 million euros, of which 110 million euros was generated by the CLOUD4RETAIL product platform. Die GK Software SE hat ihre Prognose für das Geschäftsjahr 2020 voll erreicht und das Ergebnis deutlich steigern können. Das EBITDA erreichte nach vorläufigen Zahlen 18,5 Mio. Euro. Dies entspricht rund dem Anderthalbfachen des Vorjahres (+51 Prozent), in dem 12,3 Mio. Euro erzielt wurden. Der Umsatz wuchs trotz der vertrieblichen Einschränkungen aufgrund der weltweiten Covid-19-Pandemie auf nunmehr 117,5 Mio. Euro weiter an, von denen 110 Mio. Euro auf die CLOUD4RETAIL-Produktplattform entfielen. Damit erreichte das EBITDA (Ergebnis vor Zinsen, Steuern und Abschreibungen) 18,5 Mio.
