For precise RF power measurements in V, E and W waveguide bands, Rohde & Schwarz is adding new members to its R&S NRP thermal power sensor family. The new R&S NRPxxTWGN models have LAN interface for more flexible connectivity with TCP/IP technologies, including stand-alone PCs, remote access or cloud systems. Since R&S NRPxxTWG thermal power sensors were launched in 2018, they have had the highest precision available for frequencies from 50 GHz to 110 GHz when measuring RF power with WR-10, WR-12, or WR-15 waveguides. Rohde & Schwarz, the only supplier of fast diode sensors for power measurements up to 67 GHz, is increasing the maximum measurable frequency of diode power sensors to 90 GHz; higher than any other diode sensor currently available. Rohde & Schwarz submitted its latest 5G NR protocol conformance test cases to the Global Certification Forum (GCF) at the GCF CAG#72 meeting in October 2022 and successfully passed verification. The company now has over 500 GCF-certified protocol conformance test cases, illustrating the leadership of Rohde & Schwarz in 5G NR protocol conformance testing. European Formula Student teams can apply to Rohde & Schwarz before January 1, 2023 and borrow one of ten electronic test equipment packages for use throughout 2023. Each preconfigured package includes an oscilloscope and power supply.
