Gebrüder Weiss treibt die Elektrifizierung des Schwerlastverkehrs voran: Ab sofort sind zwei neue vollelektrische Lkw am Hauptsitz in Lauterach im täglichen Stückgutverkehr unterwegs. Zwei weitere Fahrzeuge sind bereits am Standort Wels (Oberösterreich) im Einsatz. Die Lkw vom Typ Mercedes eActros 600 bieten 600 kWh Batteriekapazität, 500 Kilometer Reichweite und 600 kW Antriebsleistung. Sie laden an firmeneigenen Schnellladepunkten in 30 bis 90 Minuten und eignen sich für den Nah- und Fernverkehr. Unabhängige Ladeinfrastruktur Da die öffentlichen Ladeangebote für E-Lkw noch unzureichend sind, hat Gebrüder Weiss in Lauterach ein eigenes Lade- und Energieversorgungssystem errichtet.
